“Life After Death is a stunningly irresistible first book by an important new poet. Its voice is pared down to the emotional core. Its tough, gentle music is a revelation of observation, delicately, wisely felt, with the rare reticence of someone who has ‘been there’ and knows what she (or anyone) has experienced is terribly difficult to convey . . . . This is poetry you can trust and love because in it Jane Rohrer is no one but herself.”—Stephen Berg
JANE ROHRER was born in Broadway, Virginia in 1928. She attended Temple University in Philadelphia, where she currently lives. She was married to the painter Warren Rohrer. They have two sons.
